Terms and Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of diamondbaker.com (the "Site"), which is operated by Diamond Baker Avansino, LLP ("the Firm," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the Site.

No Legal Advice and No Attorney-Client Relationship

The Site is informational. Nothing on it is legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship with the Firm or any of its attorneys. Submitting a form, sending an email, or otherwise transmitting information through the Site does not make you a client, and information you send before we have agreed in writing to represent you is not confidential and is not protected by the attorney-client privilege.

These points are important enough that they are set out in full on our Attorney Advertising page, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it before contacting us.

Accuracy of Content

Although the information on this website is intended to be current, complete and accurate, we make no representations that it shall be current, compete and accurate. We make no representations with regard to outcomes in any matters. The information presented may not be complete or accurate depending upon the specific legal issues. We reserve the right to edit or delete any materials from the Site at any time.

Prior results do not guarantee similar outcomes. You should not take, or refrain from taking, any legal action based upon the information contained in this Site without first seeking professional counsel.

Where We Practice

Diamond Baker Avansino, LLP practices from its office in Grass Valley, California. The bar admissions of individual attorneys are listed on their respective attorney pages. Nothing on the Site is an offer to practice law in a jurisdiction in which the responsible attorney is not admitted. If your matter arises in a jurisdiction where we are not licensed, we may associate with local counsel or decline the engagement.

Ownership of Site Content

The Site and its contents, including text, photographs, video, graphics, page design, layout, code, and the Firm's name and logo, are owned by the Firm or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Permitted Use

You may view the Site and print or download individual pages for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from the Site or its contents without our written permission.

You may not use automated means to scrape, harvest, or index the Site beyond ordinary search-engine crawling; use the Site or its contents to train, fine-tune, or otherwise develop any machine learning or artificial intelligence system; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or any system connected to it; interfere with its operation; or use it for any unlawful purpose or in any way that infringes another party's rights.

Links to Other Websites

The Site may link to websites operated by others. We provide those links only as a convenience. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked site, and your use of it is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.

No Warranties

The Site and its contents are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Site is free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither the Firm nor its partners, attorneys, employees, agents, or vendors will be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, including damages arising from errors or omissions in its content, interruption of service, or any material obtained through it. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Firm and its partners, attorneys, employees, agents, and vendors from any claim, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of your use of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

Changes to the Site and to These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page and changing the date above. Your continued use of the Site after we post a revision constitutes your acceptance of it.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in and for the County of Nevada, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Attorney Advertising page and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Firm concerning the Site, and supersede any prior understandings on that subject. They do not govern any engagement for legal services, which is controlled solely by a signed engagement agreement.
