How We Work

Preparing every matter as though it may be tried is demanding, and we approach the work collaboratively. As a small team, we prepare cases together, discuss issues and strategy as a group, and push each other's arguments. Each case presents unique challenges, so we look for people open to being tested, and ready for responsibilities that do not stay in one lane.

Our Community

The firm is rooted in Nevada County. Our attorneys and staff are from the area we serve, and most have either lived here for decades or grew up here and returned. Practicing here means a caseload drawn largely from this community and the counties around it, and a professional life with room in it for the reasons people choose to live in the foothills in the first place.
