Robert J. Harelson

rjhRobert Joseph Harelson “Joe” has long been an advocate of the senior community.  Prior to and throughout his academic endeavors at University of California, Davis and John F. Kennedy, School of Law, Joe apprenticed, interned and clerked with Associations and Clinics aimed at preserving wisdom, culture and history with the common theme: Respecting and protecting our Elders.  Joe has successfully achieved substantial results in cases wherein Skilled Nursing Facilities are made accountable for their actions (or lack thereof) in treating our elders and seniors.  Joe’s depth of knowledge and experience also involves landowner property rights, elder abuse and neglect, injuries, and in collaboration with his law partners, business policy and procedure. Joe is also experienced with eviction and reclaiming real property up to and through trial.

In his free time, Joe enjoys a variety of hands-on projects including classic car restoration, welding, painting, gardening, international travel, camping, diving and backpacking.  Besides his love for exploring and living in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Foothills, Joe is driven by his fascination in researching the foundation and expanse of complex statutory schemes, codes and the legal theory for application in litigation and trial.
